Heathcock, John L.

35 years old, of Picher Oklahoma, died Friday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Heathcock, residing near Salinaw Missouri. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Heathcock; one son, Harold Heathcock, of Picher, one brother, Robert Heathcock of Joplin Missouri; and one sister, Mrs. Ella Wilcox. The body will lie in state from 11 to 2 o'clock Tuesday at the home of Mrs. Heathcock's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Merritt, Twentieth Street and DaQuent avenue, Joplin. Funeral services will be held at the Shoal Creek Baptist church at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon with the Rev. Martin officiating. Burial will be in the Forest Park cemetery at Joplin.
