48 years old, died at 10:30 o'clock last night at his home 117 East Third Street. Death resulted after a lingering illness. Mr. Haynes is survived by his wife, Mrs. Della Haynes, two sons, Lonnie Haynes and Leroy Haynes, and two daughters, Mrs. Lillian Oliver and Mrs. Vida Green, all of Picher Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at the Union church at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Powell Smith, pastor of the Christian church of Joplin Missouri, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Wesley Post, pastor of the Union church. Burial will be in the Miami cemetery. Pallbearers will be Arch Olhauser, Sam Holman, N. G. Forbes, R. M. Patrick, Robert Pruitt and E. T. Poynter. The funeral will be under the direction of the Green undertaking company.
