Haynes, 77 years old, died at 7:30 o'clock Monday night at his home, one mile west of Cardin Oklahoma. He had been employed the last 14 years by the Velie-Lion Mine and had lived in the district for 20 years. He is survived by his wife; two sons, Furn Haynes and Chester Haynes, of Cardin, and one grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the First Baptist church of Cardin. The Reverend Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, with the Lane funeral home in charge.
