HART - H. C. Hart - Daughter Seeks History of Her Deceased Father - The search for information regarding a man who went by the name of H. C. Hart or H. C. Howard and who was associated with the notorious "Buckfoot" gamblers about 20 years ago in Webb City Missouri, was carried to Picher Oklahoma today by Mrs. Walter Dunn, the man's daughter, and Mrs. Rob Roy Godsey, of Webb City. Mrs. Dunn recently came from Michigan to Joplin Missouri to search for information concerning her father. It was known that he was of French-Canadian descent and came to Webb City in Buckfoot days where he was at one time connected with a game over the Parker saloon. It is understood that he left a small fortune and his heirs are seeking to clear up a mystery surrounding his later history.
