Harris, Benjamin A.

Benjamin Alfred Harris, 70 year old retired miner died at 1:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at his home at 523 South Frisco Street, Picher. He is survived by his widow, Netta Harris; two sons Howard Harris and Paul Harris of Picher; two daughters, Mrs. Lucile McKenney of Ozone Arkansas. and Mrs. Betty Jane Duncan of Central Valley California; a brother, Alton Harris of Tipton Ford Missouri; and a sister, Mrs. Della Riggs, of Neosho Missouri. Funeral services were held at 10:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Morton-Lundy chapel with Walter E. Wade officiating. Burial was in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami. Note: Two different spellings of wife's name.
