27 years old, died last night at his home in northwest Picher Oklahoma. He had lived in Picher 17 years, during which time he had worked as a hard rock lead and zinc miner. Most of this time he had been employed by the Evans-Wallower Mining Company. He last worked for the company about a year ago. Later he worked at the Buffalo Mine until a short time ago. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lillian Harmon, and two children, Garold Ray Harmon and Alfred Laverne Harmon, of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Elma Taylor and Norma McGlothlin; his mother, Mrs. Bessie Hathaway of Picher, and a grandmother, Mrs. Nancy Bright of Avilla Missouri. Funeral services will be conducted at the family home at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, with the Rev. Arthur Shawgo officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn cemetery northeast of Picher, under direction of Todd undertaking company.
