Abstract Data
Hall, of the Barr Mine night crew, should be able to put his paycheck to better advantage than to feed it to Little Mike, a mine mule. We know several boys who would like to be in Mike's place. Little Mike has been known to open lunch buckets and eat the contents. He even has an appetite for paper. When the boys finish eating their lunch they feed Little Mike all that's left, paper and peelings included. It might be a help to Hall if Mr. Ferguson, the night ground foreman, would mail his check to his home. We'll bet his wife would not feed it to a mule. Most of the boys, who helped Hall hunt for his check, are charging Little Mike with several cars they failed to load. Hope they don't collect in kicks.
