of the Clearing House Real Estate company, Bartlesville Indian Territory Oklahoma, has returned from the Quapaw Indian Territory reservation, where he succeeded in securing leases on 1200 acres of lead and zinc lands, said to be in the heart of the mineral belt. Some of the samples brought home by Mr. Guthrie assay fifty-two per cent rosin jack' while the lead is of the pure Galena formation and is said to be found in abundance. Mr. Guthrie believes that every acre of the 1200 is underlaid with ore as out of twenty-seven holes drilled for a test, twenty-three showed deep veins of the mineral.
