A photo with the article. He moved with his parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Gustin to Hattonville Oklahoma, now Commerce, in 1908. The Gustins were business pioneers in the community, operating a grocery store for many years. Tony Joe was a 1927 graduate of Commerce high school, where he was an outstanding all around athlete. He maintained an ardent interest in sports throughout his life. He was employed 17 years as a hoisterman for the Eagle-Picher Mining Company, and was an engineer for the North American Rocketdyne plant at Neosho Missouri, before retirement 12 years ago because of failing health. He was a member of the First United Methodist church and Masonic lodge in Commerce. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Jane Gustin, of the home; two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Croan, Olathe Kansas, and Mrs. Ruth Sanderson, Goodland Kansas...Pallbearers will be L. W. 'Red' Stanley, Ralph Kelly, Don Shaw, Arnold Speaker, Jim Smith and Marvin Lee.
