Picher Oklahoma, Earl Grayson, 27 years old, of Mineral Heights Oklahoma near Century Oklahoma, foreman of the flotation plant of the C. Y. Semple Mill, died at 8 o'clock Saturday night at the American hospital in Picher. Mr. Grayson was prominent in mining circles. His death was attributed to gastric gangrene, from which he suffered following an appendicitis operation Wednesday night. Until slightly more than a year ago Mr. Grayson lived in Commerce Oklahoma. He is survived by several brothers and one sister, and his parents. Funeral arrangements had not been completed Saturday night. The Lane funeral home of Miami Oklahoma will be in charge of burial.

Funeral services for Earl Grayson, 28 years old, who died in a hospital Saturday night, will be held at the First Baptist church, Commerce, Tuesday afternoon. Mr. Grayson is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. G. Grayson of Picher; five brothers, Louis Grayson, William Grayson and Woodrow Grayson, all of Picher, George Grayson of Tucson Arizona and Everett Grayson of Baxter Springs Kansas; four sisters, Mrs. Jane Cantrell of Joplin Missouri, Mrs. Alice McCombs of Colorado. Mrs. Gladys Raynor of Baxter Springs and Mrs. Opal Spouse of Commerce Oklahoma. The Knights of Pythian lodge of Commerce Oklahoma will assist in the service. The Lane funeral home is in charge.

Funeral services were held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning...Grayson, 28 years old, who died in a hospital in Picher Saturday night, following a appendicitis operation...Burial which was made in Weaver cemetery near Oranogo Missouri. Honorary pallbearers were Kirk Martin, John Price, Roy McKenzie, D. Dutton, Sumner Cooper, Harry Speaker, and Chester Sherwood. Active pallbearers were Ray Berry, Hubert Turley, Arthur Miller, Noah Chambers, Roy Bicknell and Norman Hutson.
