Abstract Data

51 years old, fell dead from a heart attack at 2:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon while fishing on the Elk River, nine miles east of Grove Oklahoma. He lived at 519 North Treece Street, Picher Oklahoma, and was a night watchman at the Bird Dog Mine. He had been a resident at Picher for several years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Goolsby; two sons, George Goolsby of Flint Michigan, and Edgar Goolsby of the home; three daughters, Mrs. Ruby Farber of Flint, Mrs. Florine Boyd of Los Angeles and Miss Evelyn Goolsby of Picher, and two stepchildren Bill Wescott and Mrs. Lois ??. . The body is at the Durnil funeral home.
