46 years old, a miner, died at 3:30 o'clock Dec 31, at his home on Baxter Springs Kansas Rt. 2. He had resided in the Tri-State District since 1920. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Gladys Golden; four sons, Ellis Golden of Picher Oklahoma, Cecil Golden of Woodland California and Howard Golden and Virgil Golden, both of the home; five daughters, Mrs. Ellen Thomasson of Woodland, Mrs. Harold Downing of Picher and Ruth Golden, Josephine Golden and Geneva Golden, all of the home; his mother, Mrs. Jane Golden of Miami Oklahoma; four brothers, Dane Golden of Woodland, Johnny Golden of Sacramento California, Everette Golden of Pontiac Michigan and Arthur Golden of Vian Oklahoma; and two sisters, Mrs. Maude Finks of Pontiac and Mrs. S. Roebele of Vian. Funeral services were held at the chapel of the Goodson funeral home of Picher Oklahoma on Monday afternoon. Burial was in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami Oklahoma.
