of Commerce Oklahoma, died at 8:41 pm Friday, Aug 6, 1999, at Freeman Hospital West in Joplin Missouri, after an illness. He was 57. He was born Jul 18, 1942, at Picher Oklahoma, to Benjamin F. Glover and Helen Farris Glover. He lived in Commerce Oklahoma, for the past nine years, moving from rural Miami Oklahoma. He worked as a mechanic for Liebherr Mining Truck company in Baxter Springs Kansas for the past five years. He was of the Baptist faith. He married Joyce Craig on Oct 9, 1975, in Miami. She survives, of the home. Additional survivors include two sons, Jimmie Gering of Grove Oklahoma and John Gering of Miami; a daughter, Julie Purcell of Miami; his mother, Helen Glover of Picher, two brothers, Robert Glover of Grove Oklahoma and Everett Glover of Neosho Missouri and five grand children. The graveside service on Monday, Aug 9, at 10 am at the G.A.R. cemetery in Miami. The Rev. Clyde Stilley will officiate. Pallbearers will be Eric Glover, Dennis Glover, Max Glover and Rex Glover. The family will receive friends tonight from 7-8 at the Paul Thomas funeral home in Picher Oklahoma.
