George W. Gibson, 39 years old, died from tuberculosis at 1:30 Thursday afternoon at 108 Picher Street, Picher Oklahoma, where, with his wife, they conducted the Blue Goose caf . Until last Christmas Gibson had been employed for three years at the Eagle-Picher Mine No. 3. Gibson is survived by his wife and two children, Lynn Gilbert and Ronald Gilbert, who are from Jenks Oklahoma, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Brown and Mrs. Hattie Brown of Los Angeles, four brothers, John Gilbert, Lee Gibson and Walter Gibson of Picher Oklahoma and Sam Gibson of Ozark Missouri, and two step-sons, Reginald Cantrell and Ethmer Cantrell, 108 Picher Street, Picher. Funeral services will be conducted from the Union church at 10 o'clock Saturday morning with the Rev. Wesley Post, officiating. Burial will be at Forrest Park cemetery, Joplin Missouri.

A hard rock lead and zinc miner, age 39. died from tuberculosis at 10:20 Saturday night at his home near the S. R. & S. Mine. He had been ill for 22 months. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Amanda Gilbert, two brothers and three sisters. Funeral services were conducted from the home at 3 Sunday afternoon. The Rev. Harve Woolsey officiated. Burial was in the Miami cemetery.
