Just one more day and Raymond Otto Gibson will walk down the aisle to become the husband of Miss Dorothy Kenney, charming and talented daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. L. Kenney. Raymond Otto better known as 'Hoot', is a former athlete at the University of Arkansas, where he met Miss Kenney long before coming to Miami Oklahoma to become bookkeeper for the Cardin Mining and Milling Company. Kenneth Neal said that Hoot's wedding would cost him 10 cents for a shine and that in return he does not expect to accept any 5 cent cigar. Kenneth was also murmuring about an additional expense.

Gibson, age 59, died after an apparent heart attack at his home Thursday. Born Dec 17, 1907, at Farmington Arkansas. He was active in the mining industry, and later became a partner in the Stapp-Gibson Insurance agency. Burial by the Cooper funeral home, Miami, at G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
