Robert V. Garner, 54 years old, a resident of Picher Oklahoma, for 12 years, died yesterday afternoon at the home of a brother, at Pawhuska Oklahoma, where he was visiting. The body was returned to the Durnil funeral home this morning for funeral services and burial. Mr. Garner had been in ill health for some time. Two weeks ago he went to Pawhuska to visit a brother. He was formerly employed by the Golden Rod Mine. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Zulah Garner; two sons, Paul Garner of Kansas City and Clyde Garner, at home; and two daughters, Mrs. Carl Hamby and Mrs. Clifford Martin, also of Picher. Funeral arrangements are incomplete.

Funeral services for Robert V. Garner, 51 years old, 610 West Second Street, who died Wednesday at Pawhuska, were he was visiting a brother, will be conducted at the central Methodist church at 2:30 Sunday afternoon. The pastor, the Rev. E. C. Hoole, will officiate. Pallbearers will be Ed Milholland, Henry Austin, M. D. Montgomery, Jim Hall, Lawson Richardson and William Handley. Burial will be G.A.R. cemetery at Miami. The funeral will be under direction of the Durnil funeral home.
