Abstract Data

Burglar Victim Left Dime When R. M. Bob' Garland, local transfer man, living at the rear of 213 East Second Street, Picher, arose yesterday morning he discovered that $12.10 he had in his trouser's pocket when he retired had decreased to one thin dime. He was much puzzled as to the disappearance of the money, not being able to account for any such expense on his part. After some minutes he further discovered that a screen at one of the windows had been lifted from its fastening and he then realized that someone had visited him while he slept and taken the money. He stated that he was glad, however that the intruder was either generous in leaving him the dime or else overlooked it in a search of his pockets.
