After predicting that his death would occur at that time, James Fox died at 12:30 Friday afternoon. Fox was one of the pioneers of Picher Oklahoma, and helped to build the first residence in the camp. He was an employee of the Picher Mine No. 1. He was 35 years old and is survived by a wife and father, Phillip Fox, of Clayton New Mexico. He had been ill for about three months from an abscess of the lungs which after he underwent an operation developed into tuberculosis. Funeral services will be conducted from the home, North Netta Street, Picher, Sunday afternoon at 1 o'clock. Wesley Post, pastor of the Union church, will officiate. Burial will be in a cemetery at Oronogo Missouri.

The funeral of James Fox, who died Saturday noon was held this morning at 10 o'clock, having been postponed to await the arrival of a brother, Fred Fox, from Butte Montana. Wesley Post officiated. Burial was in the cemetery at Oronogo Missouri.
