50 years old, superintendent of the Pelican Mine, one of the properties of the Commerce Mining and Royalty Company, died at the Morningside hospital in Tulsa Oklahoma at 5:45 Tuesday morning following a surgical operation, which he underwent May 5. Mr. Foreman's home was in Grand View Arkansas, near Eureka Springs Arkansas. He lived at the mine, which is located on the Kansas line north of Cardin Oklahoma, but spent his week-ends often in Miami with his daughter, Miss Paulina Foreman, who is attending the Northeastern Oklahoma Junior college. He is survived by his wife, the one daughter, and two sons, Erwin Foreman, who is attending school at Hoxie Kansas, and Louis Foreman, who is at home. His father, who lives at Grand View, and a sister in Louisiana also survive him. John Newton, general manager of the Commerce Mining and Royalty Company properties, left Tuesday morning for Tulsa to take charge of the body which will probably be taken to Grand View for burial.
