Final rites for H. T. Tom' Follin, 54 year old miner, will be conducted today...Follin, a World War II veteran, took his life Friday afternoon by shooting himself in the head at his home, 207 South Quincy Street. A .410 gauge shotgun was found near the body. Investigating authorities and a doctor agreed Follin committed suicide. A resident of Commerce Oklahoma, the past eight years, moving here from Welch Oklahoma. Follin had been employed by the Eagle-Picher Company and an underground hard rock lead and zinc miner since 1943. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Shirley Follin of the home; three step-daughters, Mrs. Maxine Bagby, of Quapaw Oklahoma...
