a former hard rock lead and zinc miner, died Apr 27, 1936, age 88, at the home of his brother, John R. Flowers, Jr., at Treece Kansas, at 6:30 o'clock this morning. Death followed a long illness. Flowers was born in Missouri. He came to Treece 20 years ago, and had lived there since. Survivors include one son, Greenwood Flowers of California; his mother, Mrs. Laura Wallis of Bonnieterre Missouri; two sisters, Virgie Jarvis of Treece and Mrs. Edith Young of Bristow Oklahoma. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. The Harvey undertaking company, Baxter Springs Kansas, is in charge.
