died Feb 17, 1929, age 55, of influenza Sunday morning at his home in Douthat Oklahoma. He is survived by three daughters, Mabel Flowers, Julia Flowers and Ethel Flowers, at home; his father, Frank Flowers of Joplin Missouri, a sister, Mrs. Mary Fate of Joplin Missouri and two brothers, Henry Flowers of Picher Oklahoma and Joe Flowers, of Galena Kansas. Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Galena at 2 this afternoon with the Rev. Wesley Martin of Douthat officiating. Burial Feb 19, 1929, in Hill Crest cemetery at Galena. The funeral was under direction of the Green undertaking company of Picher Oklahoma.
