a resident of Cardin Oklahoma, since 1917, died Jun 14, 1953, age 64, Sunday morning at University hospital Oklahoma City, following a long illness. A native of Webb City Missouri, Flournoy had worked as a millman and teamster in the Tri-State hard rock lead and zinc mining field until forced by poor health to retire over a year ago. Surviving are a son, Gerald Flournoy, Carlsbad New Mexico; a daughter, Mrs. House, Dover Oklahoma; a brother, Linn Flournoy, who lives here; a sister, Mrs. Sylvia Ball of Jasper Missouri, and four grandchildren. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Roberson-Hunter mortuary, Picher Oklahoma.
