Fite, Roy

Funeral services for Roy Fite, 64 year old retired hard rock lead and zinc miner and longtime Commerce Oklahoma resident, will be conducted in the Christian church at 2 p.m. Monday. Harry Porter will officiate. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under direction of the Mitchelson funeral home. Fite, who had lived in Commerce for the last 35 years, died in a sanitarium at Clinton Oklahoma, at 3 p.m. Friday. He had been in the hospital for tubercular patients for about two weeks. Survivors include a daughter, Miss Ruth Fite, address not available immediately, and four sisters, Mrs. Beulah Wheaton, Mrs. Della Eastin, Mrs. Helen Mitchell and Mrs. Laura Holder, all of Kansas City Missouri.
