Funeral services for William H. Finn, retired hard rock lead and zinc miner were held Tuesday afternoon at the Treece Kansas, Baptist church. Finn died Nov 11, 1950, age 49, at 10:45 Saturday night at his home in Treece following an illness of over a year. He was born in Granby Missouri and lived there until 1921 when he moved to Treece where he has since resided. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Linnie Finn of the home, three sons, Pat Finn of Wallace Idaho, John Finn and Donald Finn, both of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Clara Myers of Long Beach California, Mrs. L. C. Gifford of Springville California, Mrs. Mary Judd and Mrs. Edna McDamil, both of Granby; and two grandsons. Services were conducted by the Rev. Bert Parker of Joplin Missouri. Burial Nov 14, 1950, was in the Granby Missouri cemetery under the direction of the Morton-Lundy funeral home. The body lay in state at the home until the funeral hour. Pallbearers were Don Davis, George Dungan, Frank Franklin, Lovall Jones, John Trimble and Carl Box.
