A photo, age 74, of Webb city Missouri died Mar 8, 2002, age 74, at 1:55 pm Born Sep 23, 1927, in Hunnewell Kansas to the late William Fairchilds and Antonia Fairchilds. As a teenager, he worked in the hard rock lead and zinc mines in Picher Oklahoma. He then moved to rapid City South Dakota. There he married Darlene Schultz on May 29, 1968, She survives. In 1968, they moved to Webb City Missouri. He worked as service manager of Cole Lincoln Mercury dealer and in 1971 he became owner and operator of his own truck and leased to Tri-state Motor Transit. From 1988 until he retired in 1994, he and his wife owned and operated Fairchild's Package Liquor. Hedge-Lewis funeral home with burial in Osborne Memorial cemetery.
