Everett, Otis Limber "Brim"
Abstract Data
In case you want to hear an interesting account of the time the ground opened up and just swallowed Otis Everett and his buggy and team of horses, just ask J. P. Dines to tell you. That happened years ago when Otis was a solicitor for Kennedy and Rauch in Galena Kansas. One day he had driven out to a mine near Galena to see Dines. As he drove away Dines head a scream and looked up just in time to see Otis and his rig disappear with the grassroots. Yes, of course they were rescued unharmed.

Otis Limber "Brim" Everett, has a new straw hat. That is, it was new when hay making season opened. Now it looks rather dilapidated, but Otis says it keeps the sun out of his eyes.
