The Captain Milling Company purchased a new truck last week. Bill Ellison, foreman of the company's tailing mill on the Wilbur Mine lease, really enjoys showing the boys on the chat haul just how the job should be done.

Larry Steele was transacting business in Disney Oklahoma Wednesday. Larry said it was tire business, but Bill Ellison said it was only tiring business.

We are all thankful for such jovial men as Bill Ellison who is ever promoting good fellowship. A wonderful spirit of comradeship prevailed at Bill's shooting match Friday and one man was heard to remark. "We need more men like Bill Ellison who radiates optimism and good will wherever he is."

Billy Lee Ellison, Jr., son of the pilot of the Good Mill, Captain Ellison, handed his mother's coat to her a few days ago and said, "here mother, put on your coat and go out and make a nickel. I want daddy to stay home and play with me."

Maurice "Phoebe" Phebus got a big kick out of Bill Ellison's falling in the mill pond at the Captain Mine last week. However, Bill said if his feet had been as big as Phoebe's feet are, he would still be in the pond.

Fred Clouse says Bill Ellison is the stingiest man in Cherokee county Kansas with a boat and motor. Shame on you, Bill! You should remember that you boys own that lake together.
