58, one of the oldest hard rock lead and zinc mill men in the district, died Sunday night at 8:15 o'clock at the home of Charles Kelly, 424 McKinley avenue, Joplin Missouri. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:50 o'clock at the home of a brother, Mac Elliott, in Empire Kansas. Burial will be at Galena Kansas. Elliott started in on the first mill in Picher Oklahoma. This mill was known as the Hand Jig Mill. He had been working as a mill man in the district ever since and had the name of being the oldest mill man in service in the district. He leaves a son, a daughter and three brothers.
