Ebright spent 27 years at the Admiralty Mine, from the beginning of its operation until it was sold to the Mary M. Mining Company. Ebright says it got so hot and dry in Miami last January that he wanted to move to a live town in the heart of the lead and zinc field, and so he took up his abode in Carterville Oklahoma.
