Commerce Oklahoma, Singleton Earp, 48 years old, well known miner, died at his home in Commerce Oklahoma, at 10 o'clock last night following a brief illness. He was employed at the Lost Trail Mine. Earp had lived in Commerce 12 years having worked as a hard rock lead and zinc miner the last 15 years. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Earp; a stepson, Jack Tipton, at home; his father, Phillip Earp of Newburg Missouri; two brothers Alton Earp of Newburg, and Harvey Earp of Osawatomie Kansas; and seven sisters, Mrs. Belle Delashamit, Mrs. Alma Delashamit, Amanda Young, Mrs. Mamie Wilson and Miss Bessie Earp of Newburg, and Mrs. Blanch Rose and Mrs. Gladys Rose, of Springfield Missouri. Funeral services are to be conducted at the family home at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning with the Rev. Taylor, pastor of the Commerce Baptist church officiating. Following the services the body will be taken to Afton Oklahoma sent to Newburg, former home of Mr. Earp, where final services will be held Sunday and burial will be made. The funeral will be under direction of the Todd undertaking company of Picher Oklahoma.

Commerce Oklahoma, Jul 27 Funeral services for Singleton Earp, 48 years old, who died at 10 o'clock last night at his home, half a mile west of Commerce, will be held at 10 o'clock Saturday morning at the residence. The Rev. I. N. Taylor, pastor of the First Baptist church, will officiate. The body will be sent to Newburg. Saturday afternoon for burial Sunday.
