a hard rock lead and zinc miner, who lives at Monarch Kansas, and who was in Commerce Oklahoma, on the night of October 22, when Charles Stricker, the chief of police at that place, was shot and killed by an automobile bandit, was in Miami Wednesday with Mayor Archer of Commerce and Charlie Warner. Dyer was taken to the Ottawa county Oklahoma jail where he looked at Earl Blanchard who is charged with the murder. It was not learned whether he identified Blanchard as being the man who was in Commerce the night the chief was killed or not.
