79, died Sunday, Jul 11, 1999 at 4:15 am at St. John's Regional Medical Center in Joplin Missouri, after an illness. R. Durbin was born Mar 23, 1920 at Gore Oklahoma. He lived most of his life in the Racine Missouri area. He was an employee of Eagle-Picher Company mines, retiring in the late 1950's. He was also a retired farmer. He is survived by five sons, Raymond Durbin and Danny Durbin, both of Seneca Missouri, Dale Durbin, Purcell Oklahoma, Wayne Durbin, Forest Grove Oregon, and Mar Durbin, Shawnee Kansas; six daughters, Linda Whipkey, Seneca Missouri, Kay Roberts and Phyllis DeShasier, both of Joplin Missouri, Sandra Testerman and Glenda Kirk, both of Miami, and Karen Sanders, Anaheim, California; two brothers, Marion Durbin, Prineville Oregon, and Paul Durbin, Seneca; twenty-five grandchildren and thirty-nine great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 am Wednesday in the Campbell Biddlecome funeral home chapel, Seneca, with Gerald Griffin, minister, officiating. Burial will be in Burkhart cemetery, Racine. Pallbearers will be nephews. The family will receive friends at Campbell-Biddlecome funeral home Tuesday from 7 to 8 pm the family will be at the home of Danny Durbin.
