Abstract Data

70 years old, a mill man, a life-long resident of the district, died at noon Thursday at the Freeman hospital in Joplin Missouri. Mr. Dunn was born Nov 5, 1875, at Seneca Missouri, and had resided in Webb City Missouri most of his life. For the last 15 years, he lived at Baxter Springs Kansas where he was employed as a mill man in the mines. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Laura Dunn; three daughters, Mrs. Luther McClain of Augusta Kansas, Mrs. R. M. Patrick of Quapaw Oklahoma and Mrs. Harry Simmons of Webb City and two grandsons, Captain Ray L. Sears, who is stationed at Hamilton Field, California, and Billy Lee Sears of Pittsburg Kansas. Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Duenweg Missouri Christian church. The Rev. John F. Morgan officiated and burial was in the Ozark Memorial Park cemetery.
