59 years old, died at 9 o'clock last night at his home in Cardin Oklahoma. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary R. Dunn and seven children. Mrs. Alma Eldridge, of Little Rock Arkansas, Mrs. Minnie Montgomery of Commerce Oklahoma; Mr. Alton Gill, Mrs. Nellie Herring, Mrs. Hazel Dobson and Sidney Dunn, all of Cardin, a brother William Dunn of Rector. Funeral is 2 o'clock Friday at the Cardin Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. Elmer Reynolds. Burial will be at the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under the direction of the Cooper undertakers. Cooper's records indicate that Mr. Dunn was 59 years, 2 months, and 16 days old, born Dec 8, 1866, and he died of tuberculosis on Feb 24, 1926. His father's name was William Dunn, and his mother's name was Mary [her maiden name may have been Edward, but not clearly written]. Funeral Register Pg.142 . He was a hard rock lead and zinc miner.
