John D. Dunham, 67, died at 3 am today in Miami Baptist hospital shortly after suffering a heart attack at his home, 204 South Vine, Commerce. After employment as a mill man in the Tri-State district mining fields, he moved to Santa Fe New Mexico. During his 20 years there, he served as a police officer and as a representative in the New Mexico Legislature. He returned to Commerce in 1958 and was a member of the First Baptist church, Commerce. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Blaustien of North Hollywood California; two sisters, Miss Hazel Dunham and Mrs. Goldie Posey, both of Commerce, and a grandson.
