Harold "Sam" F. Dryer, died after a long illness. Born Jul 10, 1914, in Smithville Missouri, Mr. Dryer had lived in Ottawa county Oklahoma most of his life. A retired miner, he was a member of the Eastview church of Christ, Miami. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Katie Dryer, of the home; a son, Sammy Dryer, Springfield Missouri; a daughter, Mrs. Alma Manning, Miami; a step-daughter, Mrs. Jetta Smith, Eugene Oregon; two brothers, Ted Dryer, Commerce, and Lloyd Dryer, Joplin Missouri; two sisters, Mrs. Opal Brookshire and Mrs. Virginia Sikes, both of Commerce; eight grandchildren and a great grandchild.
