Commerce Oklahoma, died Sunday, Jan 30, 2000, at Integris Baptist Regional Health Center after an illness. He was 91. Mr. Dryer was born Oct 22,1908, in Smithville Missouri, to George Jacob Dryer and Marie Hailey Dryer. He lived in the Commerce area all of his life. He owned and operated the South Side Mine, Commerce. Survivors include a son, Chester L. Dryer, Big Cabin Oklahoma; a daughter, Lois Arnall, Miami; two sisters, Opal Brookshire, and Virginia Sikes, both of Commerce; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchi1dren, and eight great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, George Dryer; and three brothers, Herman Dryer, Lloyd Dryer and Sam Dryer. The service is 10 am. Tuesday, at the Guilford-Thomas funeral home, Commerce, with the Rev. Jackie Frasier officiating. Burial is in G.A.R. cemetery, Miami. Honorary pallbearers are Rod Arnall, Brian Arnall, Tom Gilbert, Eric Olds, and Mike Johnson. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 tonight at the funeral home.
