Drew, Jasper Newton "Jap"

Funeral services for Drew, 82 years old retired hard rock lead and zinc miner, who died Monday, were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Jackson church south of Reddings Mill Missouri. The Rev. Oscar Johnson officiated and burial was in the Jackson cemetery. Mr. Drew lived in the district 46 years and opened the second shaft in the new camp of Picher field. He was born in Kirksville Missouri, Mar 12, 1864, and died at the home of a daughter, two miles west of Tipton Ford Missouri. Mr. Drew was the father of Mrs. Lillia Shinn of Douthat Oklahoma.
