Dodd, residing on West Second Street, Picher Oklahoma, died Mar 3, 1930, age 46, at 4 this afternoon as the result of a heart attack a few minutes previously. Dodd, who was employed as a roof trimmer at the Webber hard rock lead and zinc mine, had started home from the mine and had stopped at a filling station on the state line to get gasoline. He suffered the heart attack as he was cranking his motor car. A Green's ambulance, Picher, was summoned, and Dodd was taken to the American hospital at Picher, but it was found that he had died on the way. Dodd is survived by his widow, Mrs. Ollie Dodd; a daughter, Mrs. Minnie Knopp of St. Louis; three sons, Thomas Riley Dodd, Merle Dodd and Ray Leonard Dodd, all at home, and two brothers, George Dodd and Jake Dodd, both of Saginaw Oklahoma. Funeral services will be held at 2 Wednesday afternoon at the home of George Dodd. Burial Mar 5, 1930, will be in a Saginaw cemetery.
