pioneer Miami mine operator, died Tuesday night at his home, 106 A Street southwest. Mr. S. B. Dobson had lived in Miami for 30 years coming here in 1894 from Kentucky. He was born in Cuba Kentucky and was 78 years old. He leaves his widow, two sons, Solomon Sully' M. Dobson and Wayman Dobson, and one daughter, Miss Nellie Dobson, all of Miami. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the home. The Rev. J. C. Linton, former pastor of the Presbyterian church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Harry W. Curtis, present pastor of the church. The following will serve as pallbearers: George Rice, George Nicely, Clyde Fullerton, Charles Ellis, M. R. Tidwell and C. J. Fribley. Burial will be in the G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
