Dennis T. Dickerson, of Commerce, died at 9 am today in Miami Baptist hospital where he was taken after suffering an apparent heart attack at his home. He had lived in Commerce Oklahoma for the past 13 years, moving there from Picher Oklahoma, where he had resided since 1915. He worked in the mining fields near Picher Oklahoma until his retirement several years ago. He was a member of the Elk's Lodge in Galena Kansas. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Selma Dickerson, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Eva Louise McDonald, Joplin Missouri a brother, Claude Dickerson, Commerce; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Blizzard, and Mrs. Marjorie Hatfield, both of Joplin and a grandson.
