of 1705 E Street SW, Miami, died Friday, March 27, 1992, at Baptist Regional Health Center. He was 77. Mr. DeMier was born Jun 16, 1914, in Leadwood Missouri. He moved to Picher Oklahoma, at an early age where he attended school. He worked in the mining fields and for Lacy Implement Company. He retired from B. F. Goodrich in Miami, in 1975 after working there from 1945. A veteran he served in the U. S. Navy. He was active in the Boy Scouts and a member of the First Christian Church. He married Geneva Lacy, Dec 18, 1934, at Commerce Oklahoma. She survives of the home. Additional survivors include three sons, Merle DeMier, Tahlequah Oklahoma, Wayne DeMier, Aurora Colorado, and Lacy DeMier, Oscelala Missouri; one sister Frances Moiser, Stonypoint Missouri; six grandchildren and one great grandson. Services will be at 10:30 am Saturday at the Cooper funeral home chapel. Minister Leon Weece will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Johnson, Kem Brodrick, Jim Neal, Pete Cooper, Randy Donnell and Wylie Ellison. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Manning, Harold Mahan, Len Bilke, Eddie Simpson and George Vanpool. There will be Miliary Rites by the Oklahoma Veterans' Detail at G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
