58 years old, died at his home in Cardin Oklahoma, at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. He was a retired hard rock lead and zinc miner. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Mary Davis of the home; two sons, Tom Davis, of Oysterville Washington, and Lester Davis of Kansas City Missouri; three daughters, Mrs. Estelle Hayes of Phillipsburg Missouri, Mrs. Grace Radford of Colton California, and Mrs. Ethel Kelly of Picher; two sisters, Mrs. Flossie Knight of Burkburnett Texas, and Mrs. Elsie Kelly of Watts Oklahoma, and 19 grandchildren. Services will be announced by the Goodson-Durnil funeral home.

Funeral services for Virgil C. Davis, 58 years old, a retired lead and zinc miner who died at home in Cardin Saturday morning, will be conducted at the Durnil-Goodson chapel at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. A. R. Durham will officiate. Pallbearers will be Albert Von Moss, Archie Alexander, Bill Delcour, Olin Powell, Jess Hale and Theodore Thornton. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami.
