37 years old, who has resided in Picher Oklahoma for the last 25 years, died at 12:30 a.m. today at his home, after an illness of three years. He is survived by his wife, Verna Davis: one son, Clyde Davis; his mother, Mrs. Martha Davis, and three brothers, Joe Davis, Kink Davis, and Pate Davis, all of Picher. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Assembly of God church, with the Rev. G. P. Hertwick of Galena Kansas, officiating, assisted by the Rev. James Davis of Picher. Pallbearers will be Charley Day, Charley Miller, Bud Tabor, Roland Proctor, Orville Mitchell and Everett North. Honorary pallbearers are Louis Graves, Robert Watson, Omer Proctor, Bill Barnes, Clifford Evance and Elyss Janow. Burial will be at Carterville Missouri, under direction of the Green funeral home of Pryor Oklahoma.
