owner of the Liberty Candy Kitchen, died at 8 o'clock tonight at his home, 516 South Frisco Street, Picher Oklahoma. Fifty years old, he had been ill many months. Prior to entering business three years ago, he had worked as a shoveler in district mines. He had lived in Picher for 30 years. Surviving are his wife, Juanita Davis, of the home; a daughter, Mrs. Gus Cosmos, San Francisco California; four brothers, Gene Davis of West Memphis Arkansas; Homer Davis of Commerce, Jim Davis of Woodward, Russell Davis of Norton Kansas, and a sister Mrs. Mable Crawford of Baxter Springs. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Thomas funeral home.
