41 years old died at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the family home, 456 Alta Street, Picher Oklahoma. Death followed a long period of illness. He is survived by his wife, Edith Davis, and son, Jack Davis, both of Picher; six brothers, Jeff Davis, Tom Davis, Albert Davis, Joseph Davis and Arrie Davis of Picher, and Robert Davis of Easterly Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Heartnuff of Easterly and Mrs. Lillian Reynolds of Picher, and his mother, Mrs. Martha Stone, also of Picher. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon at the Baptist church. The Rev. Billie Bain will officiate. Burial will be at Carterville Missouri, under direction of the Green undertaking company.

Funeral services for Merton Davis, 41 years old, who died Saturday afternoon at his home, 456 Alta Street, were held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at the Baptist church with the Rev. Billy Bain, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in the Carterville Missouri, cemetery, under the direction of the Green undertaking company.
