James G. Davis, foster son of Mr. and Mrs. William Allen, died at his home on North Main Street at Commerce, Wednesday night. He was 29 years old. Mr. Davis is survived by his wife, Mrs. Opal Davis; one son, Woodie Davis; two brothers, Punk Davis and Dick Davis of Springfield Missouri, and two sisters, Mrs. Avot Beer of Springfield and Mrs. Frank Stone of Modesto California. Funeral services will be held at the Christian church at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon by the Rev. Hugh Stevens. Burial will be G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under the direction of the Mitchelson undertaking company.
