Daugherty, Admiral "Dewey"

The March resident of the month at Heartland Plaza, described as a "jack of all trades" by Janice Evans, administrator of the senior living center. Daugherty has a son, Bill Daugherty, in Houston Texas and a daughter, Carolyn Daugherty, who resides in Miami. Prior to retiring from Eagle-Picher Company after 24 years of service, Daugherty was in the United States Navy for 21 years. His hobbies are metal working and woodworking. Some of his work is on display in the dining area. A favorite occupation is carving as is evidenced by the many carved items occupying a curio cabinet cabinet.
