73 years old, Darnell died at 11:45 o'clock Sunday night at his home, 307 South Emily Street, Picher Oklahoma, after an illness of several years. He had lived in Picher since 1918. He was a member of the Assembly of God church. Surviving are a son, George W. Darnell of Picher; three daughters, Mrs. Lora Woodcock of Treece Kansas; a brother, Nathan S. Darnell of Commerce Oklahoma, and 17 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are in charge of the Goodson-Durnil funeral home.

Funeral services for Levi Darnell, 73 years old, who died Sunday night at his home, 307 South Emily Street, will be conducted at 2 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Assembly of God church. The Rev. Arthur Shawgo will officiate and be assisted by the Rev. George Brenman. Burial will be in G.A.R. cemetery at Miami, under the direction of the Goodson-Durnil funeral home. Pallbearers will be grandsons and nephews. Mr. Darnell, a retired miner, had been in ill health for several years. He had resided in Picher since 1918 and was a member of the Assembly of God church. Surviving are a son, George W. Darnell of Picher; three daughters, Mrs. Laura Woodcock of Grant Pass Oregon, Mrs. Opal Emery of Dearbourn Michigan, and Mrs. May Cox of Treece; a brother, Nathan S. Darnell of Commerce, and 17 grandchildren.
